Middle School Retreat

The middle school teachers and students enjoyed their overnight leadership retreat at  Southwind.  Without a doubt, our middle school students connected with each other in a lasting way.  Through the various activities that Southwind has to offer, every student found something that he or she enjoyed, such as canoeing, kayaking, volleyball, swimming, and frisbee golf, to name a few.  However, it wasn’t just the activities that brought the camp to life; the worship contributed significantly to this trip.  Led by Scott Stuart, everyone was moved in awesome ways including messages by Jonathan Christian and the FPCO youth department and praise and worship by Wil Brown.  This middle school retreat will be remembered by the students and staff as a powerful time of community-building and spiritual development.  Praise the Lord for showing up in a mighty way as we continue to celebrate our TCS Middle School experience.
