Bill Withers’ original song “Lean on Me” closed out Miss Whitman’s 5th grade class chapel program as students, teachers, staff, and parents in attendance swayed and sang enthusiastically. The program theme continued to focus on Romans 12:4-6, but the class took it to verse 18. Through examples, they acted out how each of us has specific needs and others have specific gifts that can help with those needs.
