Brad Haywood
Brad Haywood earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism Management at the University of Illinois. Upon graduation, he felt compelled to serve in the U.S. Army. During his service, he completed five deployments in addition to tours in Korea and Germany. After completing his military service, Brad returned to school, where he earned his Master’s degree in Education from Molloy College. Brad taught 5th and 6th grade Math at Notre Dame School in New Hyde Park, NY, before he and his family relocated to Orlando.
Sports have always been a major influence in Brad’s life. He was a four-sport athlete in high school and attended the University of Illinois on a football scholarship. The highlight of his athletic career was winning the 2001 Big Ten Championship with his team and playing in the 2002 Sugar Bowl. He also loves traveling, whitewater rafting, and scuba diving.
He and his wife Asha have two sons, Daniel (6) and Elijah (4).
