Cashual Day This Friday
This Friday, May 22, students may dress in casual clothing for a minimum of a $1 donation. Students must adhere to the dress guidelines for Cashual Day. Proceeds from Cashual Day will benefit the Singita Village School, a Christian pre-school in a remote village outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. Our donations will help to build a perimeter fence around the school to provide safety and freedom for the children as they play. If we raise $1500, the African Safari Company will give us $1000 to complete the project. The Garris family (sons Connor, Ethan, and Nelson), who has worked with the school since 2007, visit every other year to serve the children and teachers and to help provide much needed improvements. In the past, The Christ School has generously donated to help carpet rooms in the school and replace rusting playground equipment. Help us support the Singita Village School by bringing in your donation this Friday for our final Cashual Day of the year.
