God’s Word

  • Each month, the entire student body memorizes the same passage of Scripture. This allows us to have God’s Word in our hearts and minds, and to learn it as a community.
  • Daily worship revolves around a yearly theme. This year’s theme is “Alive,” focusing on the Bible verse, Galatians 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Monthly themes include: The Living Word, A Life of Stewardship, A Life of Humility, and Time Alone with God.

  • Each student in grades 1-8 is given a personal Bible. Teachers personalize this Bible with a note at the end of each school year.
  • Bible is a core subject school-wide. Students study Biblical passages and stories that shape their Christian worldview.
  • In middle school we have Bible teachers who are specifically trained to provide high quality Biblical instruction.
  • Biblical principals are integrated across all subject areas, but they also go beyond classroom instruction. How God has called us to live is modeled in our sports programs, arts, and other extracurricular activities.
