Investigate, Research, Innovate and Share
Middle school students have a new elective class offering this year to help them develop needed skills and learn more about things they enjoy. In IRIS (Investigate, Research, Innovate, and Share), students focus on topics of interest with guidance from their teacher. Students research various aspects of their topic and share their findings with the class through formal and informal presentations. IRIS students explore areas such as hobbies, careers, current events, historical impacts, influential figures, and travel destinations. This class empowers students to dive deeper into what interests them most and gives them opportunities to share their interests with their classmates, opening them up to new ideas and areas they may want to pursue.
