Lions’ Sports News March 27

TCS offers an open gym for all 5th – 8th grade students interested in playing pick-up basketball. Coach Oz will lead a few warm-up drills and then teams will be chosen. Join us on Wednesdays after school from 3:45 to 4:30 pm on the following dates: March 27, April 3, 10 and 17. There is a fee of $50 that will be charged to your FACTS account. If your child has not already participated in a TCS sport, a TCS waiver will need to be completed and returned to Mr. Vais. Please register online. 

Middle School
Track practice will be held at Boone High School on Thursday, March 28 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. The championship track meet is Monday, April 1, at Trinity Prep, starting at 4:00 pm.

Lower School
1st and 2nd grade soccer shots will be held on Thursday, March 28, from 3:30 to 4:05 pm on the Green Space.

TK – Kindergarten soccer shots will be held on Tuesday, April 2, from 3:30 to 4:05 pm on the Green Space.

3rd / 4th grade volleyball will have their first practice on Monday, April 1, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the gym.

TCS offers a Cross Country Clinic to our 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students this spring. The clinic will be led by our head cross country coach Terra Townsend, who will introduce running and breathing techniques through fun games and activities. The five-week clinic will begin on Wednesday, April 10 from 3:30 to 4:15 pm and the remaining sessions will be on Thursdays: April 18, 25, May 2 and 9. The registration fee for the clinic is $75, and will be charged to your FACTS account.  If your child has not already participated in a TCS sport, please complete and return a TCS Waiver to Mr. Vais.  Please register online by Monday, April 3.
