Middle School Athletics
Volleyball
6th grade volleyball: The next practice will be on Thursday, September 28, 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm. The next match is a double header here at the Home of the Lions on Monday, October 2, at 4:15 pm vs. Trinity Prep and 5:15 pm vs. Windermere Prep. The season finishes on Friday, October 6, in the 6th grade tournament here at TCS.
7th grade volleyball: The next match is a double header at Lake Mary Prep on Wednesday, September 27, at 5:30 pm vs. Lake Mary Prep and 6:30 pm vs. Orangewood Christian. The next practice will be on Thursday, September 28, 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm. The season finishes on Monday, October 2, in the 7th grade tournament at Orangewood.
8th grade volleyball: The next will practice will be Thursday, September 28, 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm. The next match is at Foundation Academy on Saturday, September 30, at 11:00 am vs. Lake Highland Prep.
Cross Country
The next practice is at TCS on Thursday, September 28, 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm. The next meet will be Monday, October 2, at Trinity Prep starting at 4:30 pm.
Flag Football
ACYS sign-ups for 6th, 7th & 8th grade Flag Football have begun. Please register online at www.acys.org.
Basketball
Boys’ and girls’ basketball sign-ups have begun. Please complete the registration form, TCS waiver and FHSAA paperwork and return to The Christ School office. All forms can be found on RenWeb.
The boys’ try-outs will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 9 and 10, from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm. The girls’ try-outs will be held on Wednesday, October 18, from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
Soccer
Boys’ and girls’ soccer sign-ups has begun. Please complete registration form, TCS waiver and FHSAA paperwork and return to The Christ School office. All forms can be found on RenWeb.
Lower School Athletics
Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades will resume this week with the next session on Thursday, September 28. The sessions will take place in the green space after school from 3:30 pm to 4:05 pm.
Volleyball
4th & 5th grade volleyball: The next practice is Friday, September 29, 3:15 pm – 4:45 pm. The next game will be Saturday, September 30, at Faith Christian Academy (2008 North Goldenrod campus). The 4th grade gold team will play at 11:00 am and the 5th grade green will play at 10:00 am.
Flag Football
ACYS Flag Football sign-ups for 3rd, 4th & 5th grades have begun. Please register online at www.acys.org.
A Flag Football Clinic will begin on Friday, October 6, in the green space from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm.
