Spotlight on: 7th Grade Volleyball Coach Chat Ricchi

How do you feel about coaching at TCS?  It’s very rewarding! Practicing, competing, and growing every season with these great students has been amazing.

What is your favorite thing about coaching volleyball?  My favorite thing about coaching volleyball is getting to see firsthand the growth of the team year in and year out. To see that is extraordinary and one of my highlights of coaching.

Do you have any goals that you hope to achieve this year?  Every year has the same goal: getting better at your skill and your position, individually and as a teammate. It doesn’t matter where you start; it matters where you are when you finish. That can only be measured by improving and getting better one step at a time.

What has been highlight for you as a coach? I think one of my favorite highlights has been when the girls were down in a match and they didn’t quit and give up and they make the comeback against all odds.
