Media Center News

There are less than two weeks left of book check-out for this school year. The last day of check-out will be Friday, May 15. All books are to be returned to the Media Center or placed in Ms. Hayes’s mailbox by Friday, May 29. It has been an exciting few weeks in the Media Center. Our 3rd-5th grade students, who read three Sunshine State books, cast their votes in the state election to help select the best book for grades 3-5 for Florida. Also, our K-2nd grade students voted in the Florida Reading Association election. They helped choose this year’s winner of the Children’s Book Award, Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein.
