Photo of the Week: A Little “Healthy” Competition

 

Jake, the winner of our inaugural eighth grade A Little “Healthy” Competition, shares his reward—a fruit smoothie. Congratulations Jake! Stay tuned for future winners from other grade levels.

Based on research supporting the connection between nutrition, brain function, and behavior, students were challenged to eat more natural, non-processed foods that remain in their God created state such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and beans.
