Student Life

The Christ School recognizes that it takes more than the classroom experience and curriculum to meet the needs of the whole student. TCS is proud to offer a rotation of STEAM, Art, Library and Media Center, Music, Physical Education, and Technology instruction to all Lower School students. Middle school students have many elective classes to choose from; they can broaden their horizons or fine tune their God-given gifts in Art, Band, STEAM, Spanish or Yearbook, to name a few.

A distinctive of The Christ School is daily worship for all k-8 students. In daily chapel, we are led by students in prayer and pledges and on Fridays, each class rotates the presentation of a lesson to the entire school. Public speaking begins in kindergarten and with each year, students become more confident and poised as they lead us in praise and worship.

Beginning in kindergarten, TCS offers sports opportunities to allow students to learn skills and encourage team building. Sports include cross country, basketball, soccer, track and field, volleyball and flag football.

Our Library and Media Center is a fresh and invigorating place available to TCS students for their reading pleasure, with over 10,000 books, and technology needs. The Library and Media Center is also home to The Christ School Yearbook staff and it comes alive with creative energy when the middle school students gather to work on our award-winning Yearbook.
The Christ School prepares students to lead in their classrooms, on their campuses and in their community, and they are ready to serve as our leaders of the future.
