Student Support Spotlight, by Alissa Plaisance – September 30

In my role at TCS, I have the privilege of collaborating with therapists and specialists across multiple disciplines of expertise. It is a blessing to spend time with these folks, especially in the areas of Occupational, Speech and Language development. At times it can be unclear on what a child needs to reach their full potential. As educators, we sometimes ask, “What is getting in the way?” This is when we seek support. In October, we will host Occupational, Speech and Language screenings for our K-1 students. We also coordinate screenings for older children displaying a concern in one of those areas.
