Taking Reading Instruction to the Next Level

TCS second grade teacher, Karen Fattizi, and third grade teacher, Jennifer Raspallo, have recently earned their classroom educator certification from the Academy of Orton Gillingham (OG). They went above and beyond what is required in order to obtain this special certification. After their initial OG training, they committed to doing a practicum, with oversight from an OG Fellow, and undertook multiple observations from the Fellow for critique. They performed subsequent research on the subject, diving deep into the world of the science of reading to earn their classroom educator certification. Kudos to these amazing teachers for their hard work and dedication.
