Talented Teacher
Lucretia McCall joined The Christ School as a second grade teacher last year, after serving as a teacher at OCPS for 13 years. “My favorite thing about teaching at TCS is the warm and loving environment,” she says. “There is such a sense of family in the classrooms, in the staff, and within our TCS parents.”
“The best part of my job at TCS is my students!” Lucretia continues. “I love watching my students grow in their learning over the school year. I love to see where they start and how far they go by the end of the year.”
In addition to being a talented and engaging teacher, Lucretia has a flair for crafting. You may have noticed a few of her beautiful and colorful wreaths brightening the hallways of our school. “I love making wreaths, she says. “It started as a creative outlet and turned into a little business. I love creating things.”
Lucretia and her husband, David, have been married for 17 years. Their son, Seth, is a TCS student in 7th grade. “We are so blessed to be a part of The Christ School family,” she says.
Lucretia shares her favorite Bible verse:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3: 5-6
