Welcome Jennifer Raspallo

The Christ School is delighted to welcome Jennifer Raspallo as a first grade teacher this year. Jennifer has been teaching grades 1 – 3 for 18 years. She moved to Orlando when she was in the 4th grade, and graduated from Bishop Moore High School. She attended John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH, where she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education.

Jennifer and her husband, Matt, have two daughters who are TCS students: Madison, who is in the 4th grade, and Molly, who is in kindergarten. Jennifer says, “I come from a large family. I am one of 32 grandchildren!” When not teaching, she enjoys watching movies, reading, going to Disney, shopping and spending time with her family.

Jennifer is excited to be at TCS. “I love my students, the amazing first grade team I am a part of and the supportive faculty and staff here at TCS,” she says.  “From my very first day, I felt like I was a part of a family.  Everyone at TCS is kind, helpful, always smiling and willing to lend a hand.  Coming to school each day is a joy.  My favorite thing about TCS is Chapel. I love seeing my daughters in Chapel each morning.  I love watching my students sing!”

Jennifer continues, “My classroom is full of fantastic, superhero students! Each student brings his or her own special gifts and talents. My students are so sweet to each other, praying for one another, helping and encouraging each other. I am truly blessed to be their teacher.”

Jennifer shares her favorite Bible verse:
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.Matthew 18: 2 – 5
