8th Grade Visits the Courthouse

Following their study of American Government, 8^th grade students were able to put their learning to good use at the Orange County Courthouse.  Each year, Judge Wilfredo Martinez hosts a mock trial with our students in a real courtroom.  Students are given roles for every part of a real trial including judge, jury members, prosecutors, bailiffs, defense attorneys, the plaintiff and the defendant.  This is an example of how our downtown location enhances learning.
