Middle School Sports
Basketball
Middle School boys’ basketball will have conditioning this week on Thursday, October 26, from 3:45 to 5:00 pm. Conditioning will be held next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, October 20 – November 1, 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
Soccer
Middle School girls’ soccer will have practice this week on Friday, October 27, at Trotters Park from 5:00 to 6:45 pm. Practice will be held practice next week on Wednesday, November 1, at Blue Jacket Park from 5:00 to 6:15 pm.
Boys soccer will not be participating in the GOAC winter league, however, Coach Nelson will be providing skill training to any of our middle school boys on the following dates: November 10, 17, December 1 and 15 at Trotters Park from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.
Flag Football
Flag Football sign-ups for grades 6 – 8 have begun. Please register at www.acys.org. The deadline to register is Thursday, October 26.
Lower School Sports
Volleyball
Congratulations to our 4th grade girls volleyball team, led by Coaches Richard Hale and Josh Bertelsen, who entered their tournament last Saturday, October 21, at Faith Christian Academy as the #2 seed. They won both of their matches and the tournament championship! Isabel Bertelsen was selected the Most Valuable Player in Division B. Way to Roar, Lions!
Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots sessions will take place this week on Thursday, October 26, from 3:30 to 4:05 pm on the green space. Next week sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 31, and Thursday, November 2, from 3:30 to 4:05 pm on the green space.
Flag Football
Our inaugural flag football clinic for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades will be off for the next two weeks. The next clinic will be held on Friday, November 10, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the green space. TCS dads are encouraged to volunteer and assist coach Mike Knight.
