The Master’s Minds Advance to States!

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Odyssey of the Mind team “The Master’s Mind” for earning 4th place at the regional tournament this past Saturday advancing them to the state tournament! Seven TCS 4th and 5th grade students participated in this international, creative problem-solving competition using critical-thinking, imagination and collaboration to solve both long-term and spontaneous problems. Led by TCS dad and Director of Lower School, Michael Noto, and TCS mom Kathleen Rinka, the team has worked diligently over the past three months to solve the long-term mystery of “The Ghost Ship: Mary Celeste.” As the team presented their mystery solution, they were calm, composed and confident (which, spoiler alert, definitely involved gold, betrayal and a kraken). We are excited to see them shine at the state tournament. Join us as we cheer on our Odyssey of the Mind team “The Master’s Mind” on April 11 at the Orange County Convention Center. Way to ROAR Lions!
