Properties of Water
Hydrogen bonds and surface tension give water some amazing properties! Middle school Marine Biology students experimented to see how many drops of water will fit on the surface of a penny. Sam Parks was able to fit 136 drops of water on his penny! Through this lesson, the students learned about the properties of adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension of water.
