Vocabulary Bowl!

Mrs. Sheldon’s 7^th and 8^th grade ELA students are taking part in the Vocabulary Bowl, competing with thousands of students across the U.S. and Canada, to determine who can master the most words. What makes the Vocabulary Bowl unique is that instead of reducing the field to a small group of finalists, collaboration is the key to climbing the leaderboards. Every student who plays and learns makes an important contribution to their school’s collective achievement; the more participation, the better. The Bowl is about motivating all learners to put in the effort, improve their literacy skills, and experience academic success. The Vocabulary Bowl began on October 1 and runs through April 30.
